Amazon Fire HD 8 12th Gen Button Replacement

Vai al passo 1If your Amazon Fire HD 8 12th Generation has buttons that are not responding to your input due to possible overuse, wear and tear, or other reasons, then use this guide to remove and replace those buttons along with the back casing of your tablet.
The three buttons on the Amazon Fire HD 8 for volume control (two) and for powering the device on and off (one).
Before using this guide ensure your buttons are broken by tapping the volume control ones and not seeing the volume increase or decrease. If it is working a volume symbol should show up with a bar that increases or decreases with the press of the top or bottom button, respectively.
Before proceeding to do these steps, make sure your tablet is off and there are no external power sources connected to it.

Put picks around the corner and move them along the edge to pry the case off.

Once there is separation between the case and the screen, place a pick in between the screen and on the corner of the back case.
