Background
The Samsung Galaxy Core Plus was initially released with Android Jellybean 4.2 operating system. Today it can be updated up to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, which was released in April 2015.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Plus was preceded by Samsung Galaxy Core models (which debuted in May 2013) and followed by Samsung Galaxy Prime models (which debuted in November 2014).
The Samsung Galaxy Core Plus and Samsung Galaxy Core have many similar features - both externally and internally. They both have the same screen sizes, batteries, cameras, connectivity/communications, and are virtually the same size and weight. Their differences include different memory and storage options.
