Ryobi Sander S652D (2012)

The RYOBI S652D is a 1/4 sheet sander. As a 1/4 sheet sander with 14,000 RPM, it is intended to be used as a finishing sander but can be used for a wide variety of applications. It is intended to be used for sanding on wood surfaces, removing rust, sanding steel surfaces, and sanding plastics.

Ryobi released the S652 in 2012. The dark blue S652 has since been replaced by the bright green Ryobi S652DGK. The new model matches the current Ryobi product line color scheme.

The RYOBI S652D is a 1/4 sheet sander that comes in a primarily blue color scheme, with red RYOBI logos on both the body as well as the white dust bag. The front of this sander is primarily black on the rubber contact points where a user would hold the sander. On the bottom line of the rubber grip portion, the term "GripZone" is spelled out. There is also a pop of yellow near the top of the sander, surrounding the on/off switch. The model number can be located on the black label directly on your tool.
