Background and Identification
The Nespresso CitiZ coffee machine features two cup sizes: a 110mL ‘Lungo’ and a 40mL ‘Espresso’ size. It has a removable drip tray, which is intended to make room for taller glasses. It is advertised to heat up in 25 seconds, auto-shut off after 9 minutes, and achieve 19-bar pressure. This coffee machine is compatible with standard Nespresso capsules (also known as pods), but not Vertuo pods.
The lack of drink size options and high price has drawn criticism from some consumers. Despite the criticism, the Nespresso CitiZ is also recognized for being a relatively small and easy-to-use machine that doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen. The high quality construction and elegant look of this coffee machine also make it more worth the price. Overall, it is generally well received, and it has a 4.7 out of 5 star rating on Amazon.
