Nokia è una compagnia finlandese specializzata in telecomunicazioni, tecnologia dell'informazione ed elettronica di consumo. Negli anni 2000, Nokia ha lanciato quattro serie di smartphone: la serie C, X, E ed N. In ogni serie ci sono telefoni numerati, di solito da 1 a 9. Questo numero corrisponde alla funzionalità del telefono e ai suoi costi, l'1 corrisponde al telefono più economico e il 9 corrisponde al più costoso e con più funzionalità. La compagnia ha abbandonato la loro vecchia usanza per quanto riguarda i nomi, quindi ora il numero del tuo modello di Nokia non ti dice come funziona.

Nokia è passata in secondo piano sulla scena degli smartphone per la maggior parte dei primi anni 2010, ma, nel 2017, il lancio del Nokia 1 ha dato il via a una nuova generazione di cellulari Nokia.
