== Storia e Identificazione ==

Il Nintendo Switch Lite, a differenza dello Switch originale, non può essere collegato ad un televisore e non dispone di un sua stazione di ricarica, quindi può essere solo utilizzata in modalità portatile.

Per compensare questi sacrifici hardware, la console viene venduta ad un prezzo molto più basso dello Switch originale, il prezzo di listino (in Italia) è infatti di 219,98 €, ben 110 € in meno dell'originale.

Inoltre, a differenza dell'originale, i controller Joy-Con dello Switch Lite non possono essere scollegati dalla console, ma i Joy-Con classici possono essere connessi allo Switch Lite (e caricati separatamente, in quanto lo Switch Lite non può ricaricarli).

Lo Switch Lite è più piccolo e leggero del suo predecessore, ed è disponibile in diversi colori: giallo, turchese e grigio, più il corallo aggiunto nel 2020.
