The Huawei Mate 8 Android smartphone was produced by Huawei as part of the Huawei Mate series. The Mate 8 was released in China in November 2015 and globally in early 2016. The Mate 8 was available in gold, silver, grey, and brown variants.

The Mate 8 has a 6.0-inch Gorilla Glass display and an aluminum back and frame. The Mate 8 includes a 16-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
