The HMD Fusion was launched in September 2024 and is the sixth smartphone to be released under the HMD brand (HMD also makes Nokia phones). The HMD Fusion introduces smart outfits, which allow the core phone to be upgraded and customized. The base price for the core phone is $299 or €249.

The HMD Fusion can be identified by the model number TA-1640, TA-1643, TA-1648, or TA-1658, which is written on the back of the phone in the bottom-left corner. You can also find the model number by navigating to ''Settings > About phone''.

The HMD Fusion is also identifiable by sixteen visible screws and the text “HMD” and “Human Mobile Devices” on the back cover. The core phone is only available in Noir and includes a transparent outfit.
