Background
The GE Logiq 9 is a diagnostic tool that takes ultrasound images and was created by GE Healthcare in early 2000 and released in 2002. It is utilized in hospitals and clinics by different specialties. The Logiq 9 was designed for trained medical professionals like sonographers, radiologists, and physicians. The Logiq 9 uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of tissues, organs, and blood flow. The tool aids in obstetric, vascular, cardiac, and abdominal imaging, which helps medical staff monitor and diagnose patients.
The Logiq 9 is a mobile cart that has a monitor, control panel, and connectors (probes). This ultrasound tool has the ability to do 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging. Along with different Doppler capabilities such as color, power, pulsed, and continuous wave, these imaging capabilities aid the physicians with monitoring blood flow.
Newer models have been released, but the Logiq 9 still remains in use by some providers. It can be purchased through refurbished medical equipment suppliers. There have been no major recalls on the GE Logiq 9, but routine services and maintenance advisories have been released. The manufacturer may require the serial number, which can be found by pressing the utility button on the keyboard, then searching for the admin tab, which will then display the serial number.
