Just Energy Hub

We are a group of students from Olin College of Engineering redesigning a 55 kilowatt vertical axis wind turbine donated to us by Eastern Wind Power. We intend to develop a sustainable, reparable, and just energy system that uses renewable energy and a disconnected microgrid of our own design. This is intended for energy sovereignty for communities in remote areas. Enclosed are the repair and maintenance guides for our specific microgrid system as well as details on how we came to the design decisions we chose so that those wishing to establish their own energy system can make informed decisions based on our experience and their unique situation.
