After taking apart the keyboard and cleaning it I reassembled it and now when I turn it on by sliding the switch it doesn't turn on! Is there some connection that has dropped out of the switch? Do I have to realign it? Although the switch slides it doesn't seem to correspond to anything on the PCB. Please help!

Yes - if the switch isn't centered under the on/off piece it wont contact.

Foud broken solder terminal on left bank inside switch, you have to remove bottom battery cover to have access
