Where exactly is the Vreg chip on the iBook G3 logic board?
I have an iBook G3 12" from either 2002 or 2003, and it displayed the symptoms of the (common?) loose video chip connection. I thought I might be able to perform a solder joint repair, but to my surprise, when I exposed the logic board I was unable to locate a problem. There is a lot of material on the Internet for the G4 chip repair, but I haven't been able to find as much for the G3. Is there a picture available showing where the chip is?
