If there is no power light and no heat, the something is open circuit. Could be a bad power cord, a bad control switch, a bad bimetal temp regulator or an open heating element.
The only solution is to get your multi-meter out, open it up and trace the path till you find the open circuit.
Some of those part may not be replaceable.
