Within macOS you have BootCamp which allows you to run Windows within a VM. This is the preferred way as you can jump between the two OS spaces allowing you to cut and paste data between. Here's more on BootCamp Install Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp Assistant

The other way is to run Windows straight up, completely wiping macOS completely off and just treating the system as it was another Windows system. You do loose access to Mac services like diagnostics and SMC info. I really don't recommend doing this unless you have a second drive setup with macOS so you can boot up under it.
