@frankmhando first you want to check your settings. Make sure it is not set to silent mode and check that vibration is enabled for calls and notifications in the "Sounds and Vibration" menu.
Next you can test your vibration motor by dialing *#0842#
If that does not work either you may just have a bad vibration motor. Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide to replace this, use the one from here. It is written in Spanish so use a browser that does the translating for you, if needed.
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
