Today I did my software update to my moto g85 phone.
After that it is not charging.
It is only charging when it is either switched off or restart in charger plugin.
But if I plug out and then plugin then again it is not charging.
Please help me to resolve it.

Same here, once unplugged, it will not charge again, until restart or power off.
This kind of programming can lead to active monitoring of the phone location as triangulation will happen on every power up.
I read the new software will not charge if the battery is above 80%, which it is in most my cases.
This is to "extend battery life", but I don't want the software to tell me when to have the phone at 100% charged.
They do NOT know my life, they will not CONTROL my life, and when I will need it most, my phone will only have 80% charge on a long trip that last 3+ days with the phone ON.
I WANT CONTROL OF MY TOOL !!! I don't want Motorola nor Gulag to control my tool. GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE !!!
