1 Different power supply giving no display
Bought an old dell optiplex 7010 with a 240 watt power supply and intended to plug in a new GPU, so I got a 550e- solid gear and connected all the cables to get no display, but fans did turn on, specifically plugged in the sata, CPU, and motherboard cables bcs there's no GPU right now, however when I reinstalled the old 240 watt power supply it booted to life and displayed just fine.

@arihadad just to clarify it powers on with the old pawer supply but not a new one. Same setup and nothing else has been changed? Where did you get the new PSU from and what make, and model is this?

Yep, comes on just fine with the old power supply, display and all however the new one has the fans come to life but no display, nothing else was changed. The PSU was from a friend who was replacing his power supply for a newer one bcs I gave him a rx 580, the exact model is the solidgear SDGR-550e, http://www.solidgearusa.com/en/product_4...
As a side note, the 550e was working fine when it was replaced, and had no problem in his PC.
