Black screen after updating to ios 18

Have a 13 Pro Max with a third party screen soft oled. Did the ios 18 update and now have a black screen. The phone works though, I can unlock it and it makes sound but screen stays black. I tried to enter recovery mode and install ios 17.6 and I could see the apple logo on my screen so I know my screen works fine. But the downgrade does not work because I get an error around 20% with 3utools. Did Apple really disable all third party parts with the new ios?

This happened to my husband’s phone, he also has a third party screen. We took it into the service center that replaced his screen, he had to have them disconnect and reconnect the screen and it started working. We did this following advice from a Redditor with the same issue and fix.

I had the same issue after updating to iOS 18—my iPhone screen went completely black and wouldn’t respond. I tried restarting it by holding the power and volume buttons, but nothing worked.
