Replaced DC-I. it worked for a couple days. Then Died. Why?
I replaced my DC-I board. It worked for a couple days and seems to have died. I'm wondering if my after market,(not from you), battery could have killed it, or if you have any ideas What might have. I'm back to only getting an orange/yellow light on the power chord.
Could it have been a faulty, (from You) DC-I board?
I hope I'm calling it the right thing it's the board that the power plugs into.
Oh and by the way the inside of my mac was a little different than yours on the how to guide. I'll send you a pick if it will help, but right now it's in one piece and I thought I'd leave it that way till I have a plan...

Hi Mayer and thanks for jumping in. I just read on another Post where it was a good Idea to unplug and leave that Bat out for 24 hrs and try it again. Since I'd had mine that way for days I tried reintroducing the battery and connecting the charger and Now (Amazingly) it's on.
With that added info can you tell me what's going on with this aging gem.

Thank you Mayer. I would love to if I could get it to boot up again. I'm just getting the orange light on the chord and no charge. I had some luck before disconnecting the disc drive previously so I'll try that again. Thank you! I'll let you know. JohnZ
