Freezer making loud humming and freezing up

Hi, I have a GE side by side refrigerator that is only a year and half old. Just recently it started making a loud humming noise that gets louder when you open the freezer door. The back panel of the freezer side is frozen up behind there. I can tell because you can push on it and hear the ice crack. I unhooked it and it thawed out and worked great for a few days but did it again. I have taken the back panel off and cleaned out everything I could. Any help is appreciated. I am not sure what I am doing but willing to try because I can not afford a repairman at this time. Thanks!!
