Digitizer not functioning well.

iphone4 16gb stop responding to touch after talked on the phone. it was working well before i listened to call for near about 40min. after disconnecting the call touch of phone not working. i restored the phone 2 times. check the internals . nothing found out. changed the screen 3 times from the market and 1 from the working phone. touch of this phone is working in another phone but not in this phone. i takes out the logic board and remained un contacted from battery for 30 mins but still same . logic board looks fresh. phone never opened before. i checked only. help.........

First, this is going to need a new display assembly. If that doesn't work, then it's the motherboard in the phone, or simply a defective replacement. Get another one if this is the case to confirm.

Should this be the motherboard, don't bother fixing it. The boards cost more then a phone and you have to be careful, since some of them are IMEI/ESN blocked. You can't verify a lot of these, since some sellers don't know or evade the question for obvious reason. I wouldn't bother.

They can also cost more then the phone is worth at times.

i changed so many . the problem is in the logic board . have any idea ? i found 2 chips are responsible for this but very hard to get that .

You need to know compoent level soldering, whicj is that tough

like I said, you need to compare the cost and find the best deal, DO NOT buy used boards due to the IMEI block risk, only time you do is if you get a cracked 4 on craigslist and it is not stolen, and the IMEI is clean and checkable

Here in india apple is replacing the phone on chargeable basis. i will go there becoz they are giving a new phone. then thats it the better option.
