Both fans running full speed all the time

I was doing a hinge repair as on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TfDVjfu...

After I reconnected it, I noticed that the fans are running at full speed all the time.

There are few people with the same problem (https://forums.tomsguide.com/threads/lap..., looks like that reconnecting display cable fixed the problem for them, but it does not help in my case.

Btw. also, it looks like sound device is not recognized but I don't know if it worked before or not (my kid was using it).

Is CPU usage high as well?

Open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and click on the “Performance” tab. The CPU usage will be display as a graph.

Do the fans still run at full speed in Safe Mode?

Same in Safe mode. I don't think this is SW issue. The fans start on full speed even when notebook is cold and does not change the speeds during time. I tried to boot into Linux and it is the same.

@roman34380 @aactech I wonder if this is a sensor issue. Something tells the fans to rev up to prevent "thermal damage". Do you have any identifier on your motherboard so we can see if and what sensors Asus maybe using? If there is a loose or damaged sensor wire your fans would rev up. Do you have any software on your Asus that monitors the system temps? If so, what does it tell you? You could always try "Libre Hardware Monitor" https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor/...

Not sure where it is. Added picture to the question. Will it help?

CPU is between 34-36. GPU 34.
