I have Kenmore gas dryer M/N 110-87273100 S/N M31019191. How old is my dryer? Had burning smell & need to know how old dryer is.
I have Kenmore gas dryer that has stopped working. Would like to know how old dryer is so may have to purchase new one. M/N 110-87273100 S/N M31019191. Thank you!

Due to the way that the serial number range can be repeated after a few decades the dryer was either made in March 1983 or March 2013.
You said that it stopped working after there was a burning smell. Have you checked if the exhaust vents are clear and unobstructed so that the dryer doesn't overheat?
Is there still power on the machine e.g. does the light still work or any of the controls on the control panel?
