Hi @barrysinanan
If the HDMI connection works correctly then the black screen may be software related and you may have to reset your device that is connected to the display (NOT THE DISPLAY ITSELF)

@barrysinanan what OS are you using and what driver version is your Nvidia card using? Have you done a recent update?
