No touch function after replacement
i replaced my lcd and digitizer after many attempts i finally got it to turn on now the lcd turns on but the touch functuoin doesnt

Try a Home+Power/Sleep reset. I typically have to do this since replacement screens come from various Chinese factories and will differ slightly.
If that doesn't work, as Jason (above) stated, you need to re-check your cable connections. Also, while your in their, inspect the connector on the logic board for any missing pins (it happens and bad news).
If that doesn't work, then your replacement is pretty much faulty. They run these in high-production Chinese factories, so, I would say 1 in 10 display's will be bad. I always recommend that anyone order 2. Then you have a 50/50 that one will work ... then take the extra and store it or re-sell it on say Amazon ~ yeah a few dollars lost in shipping, but better than getting a dead screen, having to wait on refunds, etc, or having to send it back to get a replacement.
I'd rather have my iPod working now, then worry about the refunds, etc., that take time.

Make sure you connected the digitizer ribbon, you should kind of feel it click into place, be sure to double check that it works before you put it all back together.
