does Face ID work if the front camera assembly is replaced?

My iphone14 pro max's display(only glass) and FaceID sensor are broken(Front camera work normally) by dropped.

So considering replacing these two parts

Question 1. If replace FRONT CAMERA ASSEMBLY, does Face ID work normally?

Question 2. Is there any difference in camera performance?
