Android Os Installation problem on tablet

I was given this particular 10'' tablet by a friend who actually bought it online. Judging from the fact that it name (which i can't remember by the way) did not ring a bell, i believe it was one of those china tablets. I however loved the tablet as it looked like what i needed to do my work. the challenge was the tablet was slow in operation compared to whats spec boasted of (e.g. RAM of 4Gb +).

At a point i felt maybe what i needed to do was to flash it, if i had known, i would not have tried it!

I sent it to someone to help me flash it but since that day the tablet became practically dead! it doesn't boot anymore, if you plug it to power, what you see is the battery icon showing at first then disappearing and living a black, blank, dead screen.

Please what can i do?

Can the android Os be re-installed using a computer system ?
