I have an Xbox one s that accidentally had the power supply connector ripped off the motherboard does anyone know if you need to re soldier it back on in order to re supply power back to the power supply

You stated that the power supply connector has been ripped off the mother board. Which means the board cannot receive power from the power supply. Making soldering it back to the board necessary. If you are asking if the power supply would still output power if you connected it to power by itself it would make sense that it would output power, correct me if I am wrong.
