Couple of follow up questions: are they working individually when you use one at a time? Is it that the audio is lagging in one of them? Or is it a connectivity thing? Or is it as simple as one has sound but the other doesn't?

Regardless of your answer to any of those questions, before you do anything else, follow this guide. It goes through the process of factory resetting your AirPods Pro step by step. During the process your AirPods will re-establish their connection with the each other and the case and the device they connect to will check to see if either headphone requires a firmware update.

Note: Step 6 has you holding the button on the back for about 15 seconds while your white status LED flashes from white to amber and back to white again. If the case's LED remains amber and does not go back to white, then that indicates a firmware update is needed. Leave the AirPods in their case and plug the case in, let it charge for about 30 minutes. During that time it will download the firmware update. Once the half hour is up, open the bluetooth settings on your device, click the "i" next to your AirPods and towards the bottom next to Version, you want it to say 5E135 which is the current firmware.
