Battery not meeting the minimum battery life according to Nintendo.

My old battery had degraded so I sought for a replacement. The original battery lasted around 2 hours & 55 minutes. When replacing the battery I attempted to calibrate it according to the directions from ifixit. The battery barely did better, although it seemed to last a bit more when on the last 5%. To test the duration of the battery I used the battery mark homebrew application. The minimum the battery should last if the battery is made to the specifications of an original Nintendo battery is 3.5 hours (Source). I have tried to calibrate multiple times. Some lasted a bit longer others around the same amount.
