I am replacing an LCD on my iMac G5 1.9Ghz 17". I need some aluminum tape to seal the edges. Searched everywhere on the net. Nothing is specific for the iMac. The tape looks about 5/8" wide.

Don't worry about it. I've never had an adverse effect by just using electrical tape as a sealant.

Aluminum tape is used in air conditioning installation . You can buy it by the roll @ Home Depot
