Why is my phone battery swollen?

I've had this phone for a while (One 5g Ace UW) and today I saw that them whole back is swollen meaning that battery is swollen. Where can I find a replacement battery for it?

I just saw a listing for a battery on Amazon that was compatible with this device, but also a site called batteryclerk.com.
