Dualshock 4 Analog Friction Inside when Moving Slowly/Gently

There IS friction going on, but you shouldn't be able to feel it. Keep an eye on it, if it gets worse, or actual malfunctions start, then worry about it. It is possible that you are just very sensitive to it? Without actually feeling or hearing it myself it's hard to say.

Like Dualsense controllers. The ones with Alps (green pots) stick modules make a tiny click sound every time you move them from the neutral position to any direction. But most people don't even notice it. The Favor Union (orange pots) stick modules do not make that click sound.
