It sounds to me like you replaced the screen but you're still not getting a display, is that right?
To answer your question, after going through the teardown (having worked on my 2XL, niece's 4XL and her 6 Pro), the screen connects directly onto the motherboard, so the only hardware component you haven't accounted for if you've replaced the screen would be the FPC connector on the motherboard. It's not impossible that's the problem, but it wouldn't be my first suspicion. Given that there's really nothing else to check, it's worth a look; get out the old magnifying glass and flashlight and check for any bent or broken pins then clean it with 90% or higher concentration isopropyl alcohol and retest.
If you still can't see anything, we'll need to try to diagnose the issue. First of all, what's the history here? Did the screen get broken, or did it just stop showing pictures like the replacement screen? If the old screen was still functional, can you plug it back in to see if the display comes back with the original?
