Somehow, and I don't know if it's correct, but watching a video of the replacement for it, it shows this piece here. The warranty stickers were on this PS4 Pro yet this piece is not in the disc drive, where would i even find it?

There is a small board with the intake motor on it. On 1200s and Slims, it's called KLD-00X. I forget what it's called on a Pro. but they're all interchangeable. Anyways, there's a few switch on that board. If it's taking the disc all the way in, but not spinning, I'd wager that one of the switches on this board is not functions. Or the ribbon going to this board or to the spindle motor is damaged.
If none of these turn out to be malfunctioning, then you can replace the entire laser assembly (or drive if you don't mind spending extra).

Yeah I watched another disassembly and noticed the same piece gone, I hadn't thought it just was like that. I figured I'll end up replacing the laser as this ps4 was pretty badly burned as it was caked with dust and cigarette residue. The ribbon cables seem to be a bit brown so I'm unsure if they're broken or not, it all runs perfect, takes the disc, but doesn't spin/recognize. I assumed it was the laser and intended to replace it.
