Not cleaning properly. The recirculation pump doesn't seem to stay on.
Dishwasher is not working properly, the pods are left at the bottom unused. Already replaced the circulation pump.
Fills and drains fine.
Heated dry gets plenty hot so I think the heating element is fine.
The circulation pump will run, and if I put a container in right side up it fills with water, or open the door I can see the water dripping.
When listening to the machine, it sounds like the circulation pump turns on, but immediately turns off a second or two later. It does not stay on for a sustained period of time.
I'd love some advice on what to check next or how to figure out what is wrong.
Questa è una buona domanda?
Hi @jamesluterek,
What is the model number of the dishwasher?
Check that the spray arms are rotating.
Place the arms in a remembered position e.g. side to side or front to back and then turn on the dishwasher.
Allow it to fill and then start to wash. Once you hear the circulation pump stop, open the door and check if the arms have moved position.
If not there may be a blockage, either in the spray arm water outlets or from the pump to the arms

@jayeff Thank you for the reply. The model number is WDT970SAHZ
I have already removed and checked all the spray arms and hoses and can not see any type of blockage. The spray arms will spin as they do change position when the pump does run, it just doesn't run for very long.
