Thanks for all the information.

I have the 42PFL6057H/12

After 10 years, it started to blink 3 times and it does not power on.

What is the diode that I have to replace?

I have many photos.

Thanks in advance,

Francisco

Update (05/04/23)

Thanks a lot.

After checking all the diodes, apparently the is failure is in the ZD904 and in the ZD717

Does anyone know what sort of diodes are they?

I send you an attached photo.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

I am going to check the diodes tonight.

Can you recommend me any online electronics shop to order the material from Spain/Europe?

@franciscorm it may not be a diode but it may be the power board. The 3 blink code is a non-specific code. All it means is that your TV went into Protection mode. Check D603 as the primary suspect. If it checks out okay, you will need to check the other diodes as well.

Thanks.

Checking with or without AC current?

da

@franciscorm you can just check for function without powering up the TV.

@franciscorm Mouser.com has a European site. They are costly when it comes to shipping, but their components are good quality.

Hi!

All the measures are made with the "diode" mode of the multimeter.

*ZD904: The measure is low in comparison with the other zeners. In addition to this, the multimeter "beeps" like checking a fuse.

*ZD717: The measure is low in comparison with the other zeners.

I attach two photos

@franciscorm sounds reasonable. Time to replace those diodes.

da

Thanks, but, how do you know what sort of model are they in order to buy it?

da

@franciscorm that is a tough one without having the schematic which identifies the components. Yours appear to have a glass body. We know that lower wattage zeners usually have glass bodies, higher wattage ones have the common black body. See if you can take a voltage measurement on the Zener diode adjacent to the one you need to replace.

Diode mode in the multimeter:

ZD905➡️699

ZD902➡️669

ZD601➡️682

ZD717➡️110

ZD903➡️526

ZD904➡️0

D801➡️469

ZD602➡️538

D603➡️538

D950➡️180

D951➡️180

D901➡️527

D906➡️529

@oldturkey03 If ZD717 and ZD904 are the ones who fail, ¿which are the similar ones in order to know what to buy?

Maybe the "couple" of the ZD904 is the ZD 903, but for the ZD 717...

Thanks in advance 😀
