Dryer stoped working. How the sock could get inside the dryer blower?

I don't have an answer to your situation, I do know how my sock got into the blower (forgot the lint tray). I have taken it all apart and removed the sock, I have a Maytag Neptune mdg5500aww, any suggestions if I can't get it tumbling again?
