I have a Behringer Europort MPA100BT that was discarded at my work. I opened it up, and found large scorch marks on the inside of the back panel, and both sides of the motherboard. Does anyone have/know where to find schematics, or what component blew? It’s just above the power input. I have a photo for reference.

Unfortunately because this device is not that well known there doesn’t appear to be schematics for it;-{
However if you get some isopropyl alcohol and a brush then clean away some of that black scorch marks you will be able to see what’s actually damaged ,measuring the components for low resistance to ground will also help
Once you know what is the bad component you might be able to get a donor board from places like eBay or AliExpress

I cleaned it up, and still can’t tell what the component is because it has just melted away. And the copper traces in that area are no longer connected to each other, and in one place, not connected to the board. I dont have the soldering skills or the experience to run wires around to complete the circuit, so i think i’ll just try and find a whole new board.
I could at least test the battery, and it has enough voltage, and the battery connection to the board is good.
