CPU runs high at idle

So when I turn on my pc it runs high cpu at idle no reason i can’t figure it out however I have noticed when I open valorant i don’t know if it’s the anti cheat system or what but my pc then calms down and runs perfectly fine so for a week now I’ve had to turn on my pc open valorant and then close it just to use other things like games or even the web browser
