I was curious to see if what I'm seeing in coconutBattery seemed accurate? I got the battery earlier this year to replace the failing one in the macbook. I completed the conditioning process and it just seems to drain sooo fast. I also still have the "Service Battery" warning.

If it’s still messed up contact the iFixit store for a replacement.

Battery manufacturing date 2013? I’d be asking for a replacement to be honest.
@strongbow - Clearly, this battery was not made back then as even Apple hadn’t designed this system yet! So the question is is this a programming issue within the BMC micro controller within the battery or a problem within CoconutBattery. I’m with you this more likely a messed up battery but let’s be sure.

Make sure you have the latest version of CoconutBattery just to make sure.

Hi Dan! coconutBattery is version 3.9.10 which I believe is the latest.
