Keeping the PCIe SSD in a Mac Mini w/Fusion Drive?
Want to replace the 1T SATA HD with a 1T SATA SSD.
Can I / should I keep the PCIe SSD from my 2014 mini with a Fusion Drive config ?

You really don’t want a dual SSD Fusion Drive as you won’t get enough benefit with it. Depending on its size and your work flow you might want to reformat to be your boot drive at least 128GB or larger.
