Why is my Xbox not showing up on TV but the power button is green

A while ago , I was trying to update my RGH Xbox 360 to the latest dashboard. When I finally put the update file the xbox turned off, when I turned it back on the power button was green but nothing was shown on the screen , I tried connecting my controller but It didn't work. I also tried booting the xbox from XELL but it didn't boot into XELL. I still have the flash dump file and the update file . Is there a way to fix this?

If it’s homebrew software it’s mostly likely Microsoft bricked your system because of the update and or it could be the av port probably you just need to clean it

I didnt go online, I downloaded the dashboard update manually, I tried changing to HDMI but it's still the same result

Still the system could detect it

It probably the moniter or the hdmi por this dirty and needs cleaning or replacement since you said it works on your friends moniter

If you can, try plugging in your Xbox through the HDMI cable, and if that's already your configuration, try plugging it in through the AV port. Hope this helps!

I tried with HDMI but it still gives the same result, my configuration was using AV port.

Any other way to fix it?

Have you checked the HDMI port, I have seen pins bent before making the port unusable. You can also clean it out with air and little alcohol.

I just checked the port , its completely fine. I checked it a while ago too it was fine , I will try cleaning it perhaps that will work out.

Theres something I want to add, my xbox 360 actually stopped working as soon as the dashboard update finished,(I downloaded it manually)

If you updated your Xbox to the newest dash board version that means that the nand you used is either corrupt or not properly dump and you just write on your Xbox that can bring problems if you want to fix it search on YouTube how to fix corrupt nand
