Hi Ben,
What's the model number of your tablet? Because the Verizon support page shows the SIM in the same place pointed out by @hay yew.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E - Insert / Remove SIM Card
If it's not there, then you must have a different model.
The T561 is the model in the device category your question is under, and has two slots, one for the SIM and one for an SD card.
The T560 only has an SD slot and works on WiFi only; it has no cellular support and thus does not have a SIM card slot

It is not there
It's not a fake product nor a knock-off. It is a WiFi only tablet that does not use Sim cards.
