Did you solve the issue? I just bought that battery and I have the exact same problem...

@tiveny have you done some research online as that may help narrow it down. I haven't owned one of these blades before so i don't know how notorious they are to damage but if they aren't too expensive, maybe buy another one or even two to narrow it down to the battery rather than your sample.
