Why is my phone signal weak?

Is this something new that's happening with your phone? Have there been any changes to the phone recently when this started, like a software update, being dropped or getting wet, any recent repairs, etc.?

Also, when you say "signal", are you referring to cellular signal or WiFi signal?

My Armor x5 went in for charging block replacement, since then the phone has a bad cellular signal. Never had this problem before. When visiting my son who stays about 500m from a signal tower there is no problem with the phone.Tried different supplier sims but with no success. When I am outside I can make calls and get messages but when inside a building there is nothing.
