Glitching screen when cellular data turned on

I installed two different replacement screens and had the same result afterward. Glitching, flashing, inverted, odd colors, seizures essentially.

Now for the weird part. When either replacement screen is plugged in, but the screen is not seated into the phone housing, everything works perfectly. But as soon as I seat the screen the glitching starts. The other oddity is with the screen fully seated and cell data turned off the screen works fine, but as soon as cell data is turned on the screen starts going crazy!
I also converted my sim to an esim but that didn't change anything. Seems like something shorts out between the screen and the cell antenna or something of the sort. Any ideas?

I also purchased and installed a battery form ifixit with the replacement screen.
