iPhone 3GS Coil problem

Hello,

i have problem with my iphone 3Gs.

I tried to replace the coil but when i wanted to remove the old coil the old solder pad (connector on the mainboard) was also removed.

So the problem is that i dont have only one point to solder the coil.

Is there any other solution to let the backlight work?

I found that but maybe there any other solutions:

Have you got a photo of your damaged part on the board?

This is why I dread replacing the 6R8 coil so much, too easy to damage the logicbord(expensive!) I refuse to do this EXCEPT on iPhones given to me so if it fails, I can keep it for parts

Fuad, if you want to send it to me to take a look at, I can. No charge unless it is fixed.

If there is even a hint of trace left, you can dig up the fiberboard and get a better connection to it. You could do that jumper trick, but it is a bit difficult to do if you don't have experience with this type of thing.
