No hot water in boiler, keeps flashing F5?
My furriol boiler keeps flashing F5, and am only getting hot water for a couple of seconds at a time, will i need to get a new boiler, or can this be fixed?

Lindsey, not sure what boiler you have, the only info I got is for a Ferroli boiler. Again, there are numerous of those. If you can a model number would be helpful. On the Ferroli Optimax the F5 error code is:
Fan problem
• Tachometer signal
interrupted, fan connection
• Fan damaged, debris in fan
Possible Solution
• Check the wiring and fan
• Check the fan, clean debris
Hope this helps you to get started. Good Luck.

F5 fault What a nightmare! I removed the fan and checked the fan using a plugged twin cable attached to the live and neutral point of connection on the fan itself. After discovering it was seized I had to buy another, that was the easy part!!!
Installation was a success but the fan still wouldn’t work it seems to be a PCB problem.
My advice to homeowners and engineers You spot a ferroli run away!
Ive worked on ferrolli for 15 years.
Over the past 10 years I can diagnose faults on most ferrolli boilers over the phone
I’ve worked in ferrolli boilers for 10 years., In the uk ive found that some models have the Same faults.
I also have the issue of the fan not working, but in my case, the fan is ok, has continuity and resistance of 47.6 ohms.
The issue is, the fan isn’t getting power from the PCB so is the PCB at fault or something else? Can anyone help?
Could anyone please advise me on F5 fault code on ferroli boiler
