Hello people, today I bought a completely damage iphone 11 pro and I try to repair it, i put the new screen and the phone doesn't find any wifi, i am.trying to active it but is just saying connect with Mac or windows, so i found this problem on wifi antenna can this be the issue? Or is motherboard problem?

If the Wi-Fi is greyed out it will be a board problem. If Wi-Fi is enabled and cannot find networks it could be an antenna issue.

Thanks for getting straight to the point Chris this can happen if you hit the device with enough force on a surface. The former is what occurred to my sis' ipad mini as it was smashed against a hard surface which broke that board.
thats what happend to me now. It got smashed on the floor and suddenly it restarts itself. the wifi, cellular data, and bluetooth are all greyed out

Hey Stelios,
Unfortunately something has cracked inside which means that the board won't find wifi. This is likely due to a massive bend. I know someone who did this with an ipad mini 4 and had an identical problem. There is no way to fix this so sorry but this one looks to be not fixable.

Thanks for the answer , yes but the motherboard looks perfect and not bended at all, I can provide pictures tomorrow

Just banging the device can have this happen. My sis was using the ipad mini when she raged and hit it against her knee then it was broken. We spent countless hours hoping it was software but it was indeed a hardware problem. However, my mini 4 has a bend and hasn't broken (yet). So it's something that really you need to hope the previous owner didn't hit it somewhere.
Can you by any chance provide me some photos/screenshots of what comes up in settings and control centre under wifi and other tabs that are related eg mobile data and bluetooth.
Thanks for the answer , I will replace the antenna and we will see , but I am 80% is board issue cause the phone was smashed hard , I cant provide pictures about setting cause I can't activate it, I put the Sim the iTunes finds the phone, but nothing about new start so I can activate it via itunes
@ibitaz There is a program called 3uTools it gives a lot more info than iTunes.
@ibitaz to clarify is the wifi toggle greyed out?. If = yes then board is toast, if not then it could be antenna related

So yea guys is the motherboard the antenna didnt fix anything , thank you all for the answers to bad I don't know soldering yet :)
